abstract = "{In this article, I argue that Trinitarian theology provides the transcendental ground for scientific method and epistemology. To this end, my argument unfolds in three steps. First, I set forth the Peircian triadic circuit as a philosophical description of scientific method. Second, I establish the generality of this Peircian description by showing that the triadic circuit constitutes a methodological invariant within the post-positivist philosophy of science. Finally, I show that the Trinity grounds the Peircian circuit and therewith scientific method and epistemology.}",
