abstract = "{The article discusses the way in which the essay "The Fixation of Belief" by philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce demonstrates Peirce's conception of ethical theory in relation to his pragmatist thought. The author also connects Peirce's ethical theory to the dialogue "Euthyphro," in which ancient Greek philosopher Plato explores the ethico-religious belief. It is argued that this essay should not only be analyzed for its epistemic importance and proves that Peirce did indeed develop a philosophical understanding of ethics despite the thought of many scholars of his work.}",
